Welcome to Evolve. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Evolve mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account or using Evolve, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Evolve. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Evolve exists to foster meaningful, respectful communities. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to Evolve.
By posting content through the Services, you grant Evolve a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to any content you upload.
Evolve acts solely as a technology platform connecting organizers and attendees. Evolve is not the organizer, host, sponsor, or operator of events listed on the platform unless explicitly identified as such.
Community leaders are responsible for the events and communities they organize through Evolve.
Evolve provides a platform for connecting people but is not responsible for the conduct of community organizers or attendees, the accuracy of event information, or the outcome of events.
Users participate in events at their own discretion and assume any associated risks.
Certain events or features may require payment through Stripe or another third-party payment processor.
Evolve does not store your full payment card information.
Refund policies are determined by the event organizer unless otherwise stated.
The Services may integrate with third-party providers, including payment processors, mapping services, analytics providers, and notification services.
Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The Evolve name, logo, branding, software, and other platform content are owned by Evolve or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law.
We strive to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features may change, be modified, or be discontinued at any time.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evolve and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Evolve during the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the platform or other users.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
